Best of the Best in IP-PBX
About this presentation
Miercom and BCR recently conducted a competitive test of 12 IP-PBX's from leading vendors in the industry. In this web seminar, we presented the review's "Best in Test" winners, the Avaya S8700 Media Server/C600 Media Gateway, which won the review for IP-PBX's supporting over 1,000 stations, and the Nortel Networks Business Communications Manager (BCM), which won the review for IP-PBX's supporting under 1,000 stations.
At the beginning of the seminar, Miercom's Consulting Manager, Michael Hommer, described the test methodology used in the review and provided a summary of its key findings. Each vendor then discussed its products' system architecture, design philosophy and key strengths. This was followed by a Q&A session moderated by Miercom and a discussion by BCR Publisher/Editor, Fred Knight, about the current state of the IP-PBX. At the end of the presentation, participants had a chance to query the vendors.
