Miercom rates Mitel Networks 5140 IP Appliance number one in BCR "Best in Test" review
OTTAWA, CANADA - September 20, 2002 - Mitel Networks announced today that Miercom has rated the Mitel Networks 5140 IP Appliance as "Best in Test" in its recent IP Phone testing. Testing was conducted in July 2002 at Miercom's Test Lab in Princeton, NJ. Results were published in the September issue of Business Communications Review (BCR). The 5140 IP Appliance was tested for performance, ease of use, configuration and features. The 5140 IP Appliance beat IP Phones from Avaya, Cisco, Siemens and ESI, and was also the recipient of Miercom's "NetWORKS as Advertised" award. This result recognizes Mitel Networks' ongoing commitment to having the broadest and most intuitive range of IP desktop devices in the industry.
