Responsible for formulating and maintaining sales spreadsheets, creating quotes and proposals. Actively updating sales database, researching prospective clients through multiple sources, including internet, publications, mailing lists, and trade shows, and preparing various mailings for sales campaigns; preparation of sales agreements. (Location: Cranbury, New Jersey)
Job Duties
» Identify list, contact information and approach for 100 potential Clients/strategic partnerships, participate in new media reviews.
» Create customized proposals and organize meetings with at least 50 of the companies on this list, involving key senior management as appropriate.
» Develop sales collateral that could include pricing, formats and reporting/metrics.
» Communicate and share research and sales forecast with internal team.
» Maintain a detailed pipeline of clients, and potential partners including prioritization based on strategic & economic benefit to Miercom.
» Identify emerging brands, trends, and themes, understand competitive products.
» Interface with customers and marketing for coordinating testing activities & report generation.
Experience Requirements
» Industry and sales experience preferred
» Experience working closely with customers, sales, marketing & management
Education Requirements
» Bachelor Degree from a 4 year college is a plus but not required
Other Requirements
» Must be a hands-on leader.
» Ability to think strategically, beyond short-term sales quota
» Maintain high level attention to detail, with multiple product development projects
» Demonstrated self go getter who can work with minimal supervision
» Excellent interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
» Effective written and oral communication to both internal and external customers.

| Lab Testing Engineer | Job Code #lte-01 |
Responsible for testing in Miercom Testing Lab. Development and implementation of testing process and procedures. Will create and perform projects including test plans, product research, customer interaction, methodology, lab reports and product write ups. (Location: Cranbury, New Jersey)
Job Duties
» Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, testing scenarios and documented results & reports.
» Responsible for setting up both development & product verification labs test environment.
» Responsible for procuring appropriate test equipment for both development & product verification labs.
» Identify emerging brands, trends, and themes, understand competitive products.
» Record and log all test plans, methodology, results and features of product.
» Prepare comprehensive test reports & BETA test plan details for customer products verification.
» Responsible for maintaining lab space and environment in working order.
» Interface with customers and marketing for coordinating testing activities & report generation.
» Sales support for test reviews.
Experience Requirements
» Experience and/or knowledge in broad range of networking tasks including planning, design, deployment, support and operation of voice, data, and local and wide area networks.
» Must be familiar with VoIP, SIP, voice quality, telecom & data communications test equipment.
» Must be a hands-on leader with experience.
» Should have knowledge of the following protocols and interfaces:
- RTP/RTCP, SIP, H.248, MGCP, H.323
- TCP/IP,UDP other L3 transports
- IP, MPLS, LACP
